Safety Harbor Montessori Academy is a learning community whose primary goal is to help students reach their full potential in all aspects of their development, in a loving, respectful atmosphere.

We have programs for children, ages two through fourteen, providing continuity from early childhood to adolescence, and we are fortunate to enroll students of many religions and backgrounds from all over the world.
With the Montessori curriculum as our foundation, we strive to emphasize the intrinsic rewards of learning. Our rich learning environment encourages curiosity, compassion, independence, creative thought, a strong work ethic, and respect for our global community.
Each class has at least two teachers, one of whom is Montessori-certified, and many of whom hold advanced degrees. Each teaching team creates a dynamic environment designed specifically to optimize learning for their students. Rather than one size fits all, our excellent student to teacher ratio allows us to meet the needs of each individual student.

Our campus includes nine classrooms, a gymnasium, an art room, a media center, and a spacious outdoor environment that includes gardens and a stable. Convenient to both Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties, our facilities were designed specifically for the developmental needs of each age group, following the strictest health and safety standards.
With over 200 students in grades preschool through 8, we are committed to preparing our students to be successful both academically and personally, because we realize that the future belongs to those who embrace it!
