Why are you changing your name?
We are changing our name because Ultralife has merged all of its standby power operations into the Ultralife Energy Services group. This strategy better reflects our desire and strategy to provide national service, uniformity of service, and to do it with a commitment unmatched in the industry.
What's the official plan for changing your name?
Effective October 29, 2009, all of Ultralife's standby power operations became the singular Ultralife Energy Services. We'll operate our EFI/mission critical energy services under this new name. We'll start a national marketing campaign to build awareness for the new name; however you will not notice any changes in our services or operations. Our billing processes and other procedures all will remain the same. Our service and our commitment to the customer to provide them with clean, reliable power 24/7/365 will remain the same. Were committed to providing our clients with consistent, uniform services that will result in a net economic benefit to their business - meaning we will maximize reliability and protect the bottom line. We will do this with integrity, innovation and with a service mind set unmatched in the industry.
How was Ultralife Energy Services chosen?
Ultralife Energy Services was chosen for a number of reasons. The first is that we wanted to ensure we will first and foremost be recognized as a service company. While we do install batteries, UPS's and various power electronics, it is our strength as a service organization that we want to showcase. The second reason for the name is that we want to be known as an organization that specializes in providing power/energy solutions, whether it is traditional back-up power for a datacenter or ac/dc power conversion and energy storage for alternative energy applications such as solar or wind.
What does Energy Services mean?
Energy Services means we are the only standby power company with the people, coverage, responsiveness and financial backing to serve customers with mission critical operations who need peace of mind when the cost of downtime is more than just lost revenue. It means from power electronics to battery related services, we have the industry leading knowledge and financial stability to provide world-class service communication, power utility and data processing applications from a single site petrochemical facility to multi-state cable network facilities. It means we understand how important network demand & reliability, alternative & renewable energy solutions, and sound environmental infrastructures are and will continue to be our customers. It means we are equally committed to fire/life/ safety and revenue preservation as our clients are, and behave as if each job were our own.
What does this name change mean for me?
Although we have a new name and logo, it is business as usual for us. You will not notice any changes in our service or the way we conduct business.
