Welcome to Winter Park Farm, a private lakefront estate where you can enjoy your horse or pony within minutes of home. Partial and Full Board are both available to suit your lifestyle and preference. Every barn is different we just happen to be centrally located and self-service oriented so that you can easily interact with your steed on a daily basis and economically control the cost of boarding. You have access to your horse 24/7 and can choose your own trainer, farrier and vet. English, Western and even Sidesaddle are all able to have fun here. No attitudes just enjoy playing with your horse or pony however you want in an extremely private setting. Boarding here is unique, economical and extremely convenient.

One size never fits all with horses or their owners. Especially with Feed. You choose and have delivered to WPF the best feed and hay for your horse and budget not the barn's. The traditional full board business model profits by feeding your horse the least cost food in the lowest quantities. Oviedo Feed and Tack Shack deliver each horses custom rations as selected and purchased by their owner. Food is the single biggest cost of providing full service and the one item that is continually being assessed to reduce expenses and minimize the quantity used. The same goes for Bedding and Labor it benefits to use the least amount in the shortest time or the barn loses money. The Labor for mucking your stall daily, filling and cleaning water buckets and feeding in the evening can be purchased for $175 per month from a private company operating out of the barn. All you can use Bulk Shavings are available for about $25 - $40 per month depending on the number of boarders . This is a farm where you have total control over how you provide housing, feed and care.

HORSE HAPPINESS AND HEALTH
When the owner interacts with their horse on a daily basis, the horse is healthier, better fed and has better manners than those dropped off at a barn and only seen occasionally. You manage and direct the care for your horse. WPF provides the farm and barn for you to do it. It is not work to care for your horse but a privilege. However, if you cannot make it by the barn on any given day(s), arrangements can be made to muck and feed for you until you return for a reasonable fee.

2010Horse Care Services AvailableServices are available on a periodic or regular basis please consult with us for any special needs Short term last minute Coverage - Feeding, Stall cleaning and turnout Service periodic last minute care for your horse. Feeding according to your feed instructions on the board in the feed room and provide appropriate turn out or stabling that is established. Set up for the following am. $15.00/day (we will do our best to be available; please call ASAP) Grooming Service Horses curried, brushed, hooves are picked, tail and mane lightly conditioned and brushed. $5.00/ treatment (your supplies) Vacation Coverage Services (requires one week advanced notice) a combination of feeding stall cleaning and turn out assistance (including blanketing when/if necessary) while you are on holiday. This service will include one bath/groom on the last day of service. $10.00 daily with a $60 minimum charge. Exercise Service 15 minutes of lunge and or under saddle (round pen training) twice a week (offered M-F) $15.00/week Long term monthly supplemental care PM Feeding, one daily stall mucking, set up for AM feed, daily water maintenance, one aromatherapy bath every other week with daily hoof pick. $175.00/month. Riding Tutor basic tacking, grooming, walk/trot lesson. 30 minute (Saturday and Sunday only) $20.00/session. Services are provided by: Melanie Miller Please discuss in person if possible!!
