Worship Service - this Sunday at 10:30 AM. Join us for music and a message from God's Word. Pastor Carey is teaching about the life of Elijah. Insightful, practical and applicable teaching. Please bring your Bible!

Every Sunday is a special Sunday at Downtown Baptist Church! We hope you will be there!

Men's and Women's Bible Study Groups
Join us in the church Parlor (Auditorium Building, Church St. entrance) The Men's and Women's groups meet together for fellowship and an opening Bible exposition, then break into small groups for discussion. Enjoy light refreshments at 9 AM on Sundays and an enjoyable interactive Bible Study.

Corn Maze November 13
On Saturday, November 13th a group of young adults visited the Corn Maze at Long & Scott Farms, 26216 County Rd 448A, Mt. Dora FL 32757. It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun trekking through two corn mazes (a small one and a large one). All returned safely with stories to tell.

Community Thanksgiving Service - Tuesday, November 23rd - All are invited to attend a Community Thanksgiving Service at the First Baptist Church of Conway at 7:00 p.m. - 4000 S. Conway Road, led by Rev. Auschwitz.

Thanksgiving Food Gifts
During November members and guests are invited to bring canned and dried goods to church (place them in the baskets on the altar). The food will be given to the Christian Service Center to feed needy families.

Restoration Ministries 2nd Annual Open House
Saturday December 4, 2010, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Refreshments and Snacks will be served. Come see this relevant ministry to women. Maybe you will become interested in helping in this ministry.

"A Christmas Carol" - Thursday, December 9th - Join us for lunch and a Play. We will be leaving church by bus at 10:45 a.m.. This will be really fun! The play costs $5 and lunch (your cost) is at the Catfish Place in St. Cloud.

On Sunday morning, December 19th, there will be a Christmas Breakfast served during the 9:00 a.m. Sunday School hour. On Friday evening, December 24 at 5:30 p.m. there will be a Christmas Eve Service in the sanctuary. Bring your family and friends.

Citrus Parade - December 30th, Thursday
The parade route is from Orange & Robinson going south to Anderson, east to Rosalind, then north back to Robinson - grandstand in front of Lake Eola. The parade starts at 11:00 a.m.
