Welcome to the Learning Center of Dr. Phillips (TLC). We are a preschool focusing in early childhood education, with services that include full time, part time and before and after school child care.
Our best publicity comes from our parents' referrals. Talk with the many parents who have allowed us to partner in their child's care and education. Compare our programs, rates, and quality and then make the right choice for your child.
Our preschool has been established over 25 years ago and has become an intrinsic part of the Dr. Phillips community. We are following the High Scope curriculum and have continued to evolve it to maintain developmentally appropriate practices. This curriculum encourages good decisions making skills and provides the framework upon which age-appropriate learning experiences are built.
Our teachers are experienced professionals, continuously trained to ensure academic proficiency and to maintain up-to-date knowledge in the areas of health and safety.
We are licensed to host up to 152 children at one point in time on the premises but we do keep our enrollment at an average of 135 children while attendance, because of the variety of programs offered, is kept at about 100 children daily. Our hours of operations are from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Mondays through Fridays. We are located in the Southwest Orlando area at 7233 Della drive, near the Southwest Dr. Phillips Library, off Sand lake Road and Dr. Phillips Boulevard. Please call us at 407-352-1353 for a tour of our center and an understanding of our programs. You are welcome to visit our preschool during our busy days. You will enjoy seeing what goes on in our programs and we encourage you to participate in our activities. Spend a few minutes or a few hours in your child's shoes and appreciate their efforts and accomplishments.
