Aunt Delores Child Care was established in 1968 by a mother of 7 needing to be home for her children and make an income for the family. Delores Johnson, owner, operator and founder was a self-motivated and driven mother. She opened the business with only 5 children (12 including her own) and over the years has been licensed for as many as 150 children.
On August 14th, 2006, Aunt Delores sold the business to her daughter, Tonia Myers and she now runs the business as "The 2nd generation". Aunt Delores' is licensed for 51 children and is on its 3rd generation of families. Due to its integrity and outstanding business record the center has always developed business by word of mouth.
