What is Stabilized Cellulose Insulation?
It is a safe, recycled, natural wood-based insulation. This product is so unique that it has been awarded a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office. Other types of insulation, such as some mineral wool and fiberglass products, are manufactured using man-made materials.
Why is this better than mineral fibers (e.g., fiberglass)?
It is a recycled material that has been treated to make it extremely fire resistant, mold and mildew proof, insect and rodent proof, it fills void areas more efficiently, and it costs less, along with the important fact that it is simply a better insulating material.
