F.D.S Disposal, Inc.

In 1998, when many small companies were being bought out by large ones, leaving consumers with fewer choices, one industry in Citrus County found room for newcomers, one of those newcomers was F.D.S. Disposal Inc.
With an eye on the future, Ina Ray and her son William Ray took one truck, one employee and a goal and turned them into a thriving business. That business was F.D.S. Disposal Inc.
The goal was to give people a good service for a good price. And that is what F.D.S. Disposal Inc. continues to do today. To date over 30,000 residential and 500 commercial accounts are serviced throughout Citrus County.
April 2009 a pilot program was started in the Villages of Citrus Hills for the first Single Stream Curbside Recycling service offered in Citrus County and with customer participation the program will be expanded to service all of Citrus County.
F.D.S. Disposal Inc. is active in a variety of community affairs. We are members of The Chamber of Commerce, The Citrus County Builders Association, Keep Citrus Beautiful, The Dump Patrol and the Adopt a Highway program. We also support The Hernando Family Resources Center, our local school programs and provide support to community cleanup projects throughout Citrus County.
