What is an Elder Law Attorney?
An Elder Law Attorney is an attorney who has a special interest in those issues that affect the elderly and their families. The practice of Elder Law is one that encompasses a broad understanding of aging and the law, and the legal interaction among all the various issues that may affect the elderly.
Social and Medical Concerns Elder Law is the integration of the legal system with social and medical concerns for the benefit of the client. An elder law attorney is familiar with Federal Laws and Florida Laws that affect an individual's well-being and personal wishes.
Elder Law Elder Law encompasses all aspects of planning, counseling, education, and advocating for clients. Clients often ask that family members be included in follow-up discussions with the attorney or in the planning of the integration of necessary services. During the initial consultation with the client and/or the client and the client's family, many issues for consideration may be discovered.
