Before you begin your journey through this site I would like to share a little background on Capt. Ky. He was born and raised on the west coast of Florida where he has been fishing professionally for over 40 years.
Capt Ky was a professional fisherman first, specializing in Marlin fishing, grouper, kings, redfish and trout. You name it he has caught it. He has won more marlin tournaments on the west coast of Florida than any guide in the State of Florida. He has broken more records than any guide in the state. He was the first guide to catch a grand slam and the first to catch a super grand slam.
While Ky fished professionally for the first 32 years out of Clearwater Marina on Clearwater Beach, in 1994 he decided to move his family north to the beautiful Nature Coast area. He purchased over three acres on the backwaters of the Withalachoocee River where he and his wife of twenty years, Nancy, built the home that they share with their two beautiful children Zack and Brittany.
Capt Ky now fishes off the pristine coast of Yankeetown near the historic Izaak Walton Lodge. He offers two kinds of fishing; aboard a 15' Hoffman Airboat and a 20' custom built inshore fishing boat for Grouper, cobia, kingfish, mackerel, redfish, trout, pompano, snook and tarpon. He offers sightseeing tours for Manatee on the beautiful Crystal River and alligator sightseeing tours aboard the airboat on Lake Rousseau.
There is plenty to do while visiting this area, browsing antique shops, dining, scuba diving and just relaxing to name a few.
