Purvis, Gray and Company, LLP, was founded in 1946 by Roy Purvis and Howard Gray. The firm has grown into a regional CPA firm with locations in Gainesville, Ocala, Tallahassee and Sarasota, Florida. We are a diverse firm and provide a variety of accounting, auditing, tax compliance, and technology services for individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, as well as governmental clients. Most people refer to the firm simply as, Purvis Gray.

The firm's philosophy is based on the fundamental concept that our reason for existence is to be of service to our clients. This is accomplished by being sensitive to the needs of our clients, and by providing a high level of quality through the development of educated and trained professionals.
The firm was created and continues with the philosophy that the firm shall out last its ownership, thus providing opportunities for future generations of professionals to provide services to our clients on a long term basis. This is evidenced by the clients still served by the firm who are on their third generation of family ownership. In fact, ownership succession planning is just one of the valuable services Purvis Gray provides to its clientele.
