Bread and Roses Womens Health Center is a woman owned and operated clinic located in Gainesville, Florida. Our goal at Bread and Roses is to provide the best in medical care in a safe, comfortable, caring, and supportive atmosphere. We offer a wide range of services for women including surgical and medical abortions, pap smears and well woman exams, STD and infection testing, and options counseling.

We want you to feel safe with our Doctors and in our clinic. All of our physicians are licensed in the state of Florida and have extensive experience as abortion providers. Our clinic is licensed by the state of Florida and we are a member of the National Abortion Federation.

The name Bread and Roses comes from a song written by James Oppenheim in the early part of the 20th century. It relates the story of womens struggle to gain better working conditions so that they, as well as men, could achieve their full potential. At Bread and Roses we are here to help women achieve their full potential by providing them with the best medical care - the bread - as well as special attention to their emotional needs in this critical time - the roses. At Bread and Roses we know the importance of both the bread and the roses.

Florida law now requires minors to have single parent notification for abortion. If you are a minor and want to terminate your pregnancy we hope that you are able to talk with a parent or guardian.
