Gulf Atlantic Airways (doing business as University Air Center) is a full service charter operator with five Citation 500/550/560 series jets and a Cirrus SR-22 based out of Gainesville Regional Airport - KGNV. We have over 25 years of experience with a perfect safety record!
With a charter from University Air Center, you set your own flight schedule and get to your destination much faster. University Air Center maintains aircraft from multi-engine jets to single engine piston aircraft. We are a fully authorized Cirrus Warranty Repair Station, an authorized Cessna Service Station, and an FAA-approved Avionics Repair Station. UAC's Avionics Repair Station is certified under the FAA's Part 145 regulations for aircraft maintenance. We are currently authorized dealers for Avidyne, Aspen, Avionics, Flight Display Systems, and more. We do installs and repairs. University Air Center operates an FAA approved Part 141 flight school. Flight school manager Curtis Gladding is available at 352-416-0787 to take your calls. We want to teach you to fly! The Redbird Flight Simulator allows students to learn and gain FAA approved IFR time at less than half the cost of IFR time in an an aircraft. Please see the "Rentals" tab above for more info on our many aircraft available. Bank financing is available for students seeking a pilots license, and VA funding is available through the GI bill.
