The Hoffman Family
The Hoffman family has been providing insurance to Brevard County residents since 1964. We are a full service; family owned and operated, Independent Agency which allows us to provide clients with several competitive alternative markets. We are centrally located in Melbourne Florida and have a staff of eleven professional agents ready and willing to provide expertise to our clients. The Hoffman family has been in the insurance industry in Brevard County since Bill Hoffman Sr. began his career as an Allstate Agent in 1964. In the mid 1980’s he was joined in the industry by his three sons, Bill Hoffman, Jr., Bob Hoffman and Tim Hoffman.
After Hurricane Andrew in 1992 the insurance industry changed dramatically and the Hoffman’s felt they were not able to best serve their clients needs as captive Allstate Agents. In 1999 the decision was made to open an Independent Agency. In 1999, “A Professional Insurance Agency, Inc.” was opened and in 2007 “Hoffman and Associates Insurance, LLC” was opened.
We pride ourselves in adjusting with the times to provide the best and most competitive insurance available in today’s market.
Audrey F. Sheekey
Audrey F. Sheekey began her Insurance Career in Jacksonville, Florida in 1978. She is currently employed by Hoffman & Associates Insurance Company in Melbourne, Florida. She is licensed to write All Lines of Insurance. Audrey specializes in Commercial Insurance, including all types of businesses; Restaurants, Hotel, Motels, Residential & Commercial Condominium Association’s, and Homeowner’s Association’s.
Audrey is very active in her community: She is an Ambassador for the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce; she is the Vice President of The Education Foundation of The Florida Federation of Business & Professional Woman’s Club, Inc (BPW). She has been a member of BPW since 1984. She is a member of The Professional Insurance Agent Association, The Florida Association of Insurance Agents, and Certified Insurance Counselor Society. She received her “Certified Insurance Counselor” designation in 1991, she continues her insurance education by taking a 3 day class every year. Audrey prides herself on providing her clients with prompt professional coverage at competitive pricing.

I was born and raised right here in Brevard County. I am a husband and a proud father of two young boys. Upon graduating from high school I went directly into the Army. After a tour in Iraq and months and months in the field I decided it was time to try life as a civilian. I went to work with Allstate in 2005 and quickly found that I had found my nitch.
I spent two and a half years with Allstate and still felt that something was missing. I began to look at different insurance companies and different insurance careers. Once I became more knowledgeable about the industry, I realized that as an Allstate agent there were way too many rules and not nearly enough options available for me to service our clients.
As I researched the industry more I found that an Independent Insurance Agent can be appointed with several companies, basically I would have more products to offer my clients. Once I met the Hoffman’s and learned how many companies they had available I decided it was time to make the move. I have been here ever since and couldn’t be happier. Thanks to the markets available to me as an Independent Agent I am able to write any type of risk imaginable.
I believe that the customer always comes first, I work tirelessly for my customers to insure that they are paying the right price for the proper amount of coverage.

I have been in the insurance industry for 21 yrs. I began my career in 1989 as a customer service representative for Allstate Insurance while attending college as a means to make some extra money. I quickly realized that Insurance would be my career. I went on to open my own Allstate Agency in 2005 specializing in Homeowners & Auto Insurance. Although Allstate was a great company to work for I was faced with limitations as far as products to offer; sometimes making it difficult to accommodate my customers. That is what brought me to The Hoffman Agency in February 2009. I am now able to help my customers with all of their insurance needs.

Valerie Woods Roe
I started working in the insurance industry in 1983. I began working for Allstate in 1994, opening my own Allstate office in 2005. After several years of not being able to offer my customers all the lines of insurance I decided to close my Allstate office in February of 2009 and move to The Hoffman & Associates Insurance Company.
What separates me from my competition is that my agency is dedicated to serving the insurance needs of my customers by providing the complete lines of insurance products while focusing personal attention to individual family needs and developing long term relationships.
