Took my hot rod out this week, the trans works like a champ. But the part that I’m impressed about is the converter! Man, what a difference. I do not believe I put up with it in the old mode for so long. I got power I never knew I had, Plus, I don’t have to fight this sucker at a light.
Nice Job! It’s perfect. I can drive this thing all day.

I delt with you on my new JW powerglide. I had 1 race on it and thats when we found the converter was too tight. Since you guys loosened it up its been insanely consistent!!! In 3 races the car has been unreal. I went to woodburn dragstrip in oregon for the weekend right after i got my converter. I went out with 8 left. The car ran four 9.99s in a row. Then the next weekend I headed to pacific raceways in seattle washington. It was a double header. saturday I won. The car ran right on the money almost every time. Then sunday I ran five 9.93s in a row. I lost in the third round where I messed up my dial like an idiot. But that weekend 8 out of 13 total runs were 9.93!!!!!!! WOW!!! I am now leading the points at pacific raceways! I just want to say thanks and your transmission kicks some serious ass!!!!

As a budget conscience bracket racer and small business owner, it is important that I align our race team and performance parts business with companies that share our goals; Quality, Performance and Customer Satisfaction. As a performance parts distributor, I have a strong belief that we should use the parts that we distribute. That is the reason our bracket car is running a JW Ultra Bell, JW Ultra Case, JW planetary gears, JW Ultra Comp converter and JW flex plate. This set-up has proven to be reliable and consistent. Since we installed the set-up in the spring of 2004, we have had no mechanical issues with the transmission and the yearly PM has become simply a disassembly, inspection and reassembly routine. This is a true testament to the design, quality and workmanship of the JW components.
There are a couple of key characteristics that define an outstanding performance parts manufacturer; quality performance parts and a friendly, knowledgeable customer service department. The JW Performance customer service team is one of the best on the market. They are able and willing to meet demanding schedules and provide some of the best technical support that we have encountered.

THE MONTH IS OVERHAUL KITS!
The product feature for the month of October/November is overhaul kits. There are four different levels of overhaul kits. The first is a gasket and seal kit which is exactly that just gaskets and seals. The second is an overhaul kit that includes gaskets, seals, clutches, and bushings. The third is a master rebuilds kit that includes clutches, steels, gaskets, seals, band and bushings. The fourth is an ultimate rebuild kit that includes clutches, steels, gaskets, seals, band, complete ring kit, complete bushing kit and filter. J.W. Performance Transmission product showcase for the month of August is the “Ultra-Case” transmission. The “Ultra-Case” transmission case is machined in house, valve bodies, gear sets and bellhousings are all manufactured in house.
