About Us Mary U. Kossack has been a certified public accountant in the state of Florida since 1993. She has 20 years of accounting experience including 20 years in public practice with an emphasis on corporate tax compliance, compilation and review services, and internal control review. She has 8 years experience in the industry which includes work as a corporate controller for a Florida Manufacturer and various other industries including heavy construction and real estate management.
Sales and Use Tax Credits and Incentives
Enterprise Zones: The state of Florida has 51 Enterprise Zones. These areas are targeted for redevelopment and local as well as state incentives are available.

Jobs Tax Credit Against monthly sales tax liability for newly created jobs.
Refunds of sales or use tax paid on business property purchased.
Refunds or exemption of sales tax paid for materials used to rehabilitate real property located in a zone.

Any manufacturer located in the state is allowed certain exemptions for the following:

Pollution control machinery used in the manufacturing process.
