Im Bruce Lambert, owner of Lambert Inspections, LLC, and Im glad to welcome you to our website, where youll find information on the major aspects of a home inspection and why it is important to choose the right inspector for one of the largest and most important investments you will ever make.

Im a member of NACHI, ESA, and am certified for mold testing and inspection by Pro-Lab. With over 40 years experience in construction, Ive built houses, commercial buildings, manufacturing plants, and complex pharmaceutical plants, and well understand how a house is built and how its components function. Im thoroughly qualified to protect your interests and to put your mind at ease about your decision, whether you are buying or selling.

Inspecting homes is my business. I dont work as a contractor, have no affiliations with contractors or real estate companies, and dont make repairs or offer remodeling services. Im thoroughly impartial and totally dedicated to your interests.

You can access my easy-to-read inspection reports and photographs by logging in to the Report Host website or I can email it to you. If you prefer, I can send you the report by U.S.Mail. The reports include major defects such as structural failure, safety hazards like an exposed live bus bar in an electrical panel, items that may lead to a major defect such as a small leak in a roof flashing. The report provides you with information on the condition of the house and items that need your attention.

I wholeheartedly encourage you to participate in the inspection, an invaluable learning and discovery experience in which you will gain insight into maintenance, life expectancies for various systems, and possible future problems. I am available for free telephone follow up after your inspection. Having full knowledge of the homes structural and working components can help you with negotiations during the offer and/or purchasing phase of your transaction, and ensure a smooth and timely closing.

Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing.

One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspectors own effort.
