Tampa patients no longer have to travel to have Dr. Newsom perform their surgery in an AAAHC accredited surgery center. Tampa Surgery Center is a 4,600 square foot facility that includes several FDA research ready operating rooms where cataract, bladeless LASIK, glaucoma and cosmetic procedures will be performed. These operating rooms were specifically designed to comply with the strict standards required for FDA research. Tampa Surgery Center was part of a $7.5 million expansion of our Tampa medical facility.
