Birong Associates, LLC is a business consulting practice specializing in the valuation (appraisal) of privately owned business interests. Appraisals have been performed for many business entities including family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, general partnerships, sole proprietorships, professional associations and operating companies in over forty industries.
All appraisals are developed in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice, the Business Appraisal Standards of the Institute of Business Appraisers and IRS revenue ruling 59-60. Valuations are performed for many purposes including the following:

Principal and Founder
Roger C. Birong, Principal of Birong Associates, is a Certified Business Appraiser and a Certified Management Consultant. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration and has provided business valuation and business management consulting services to over 300 privately owned companies since 1993. He has been qualified as an expert witness in litigation involving business valuation in the Fourth, Fifth, Seventh and Eighteenth Judiciary Circuit Courts of Florida. Mr. Birong is also a Qualified Appraiser, as defined under the Pension Protection Act of 2006 and Internal Revenue Code Section 6695A(c).
Business Management Consulting Financial Performance, Growth and Value Improvement
Birong Associates, LLC also provides consulting services to owners and shareholders in optimizing the equity value of their business interests. Services include comprehensive financial performance analysis, organizational restructuring and the development of business plans.
Mergers and Acquisitions/Business Brokerage Intermediary
Mr. Birong assists buyers and sellers in the acquisition or sale of privately owned businesses including acquisition candidate and buyer searches, valuation, price and terms negotiations, coordinating the activities of other advisors involved in the transaction and financing. Related services include conducting due diligence for buyers and sellers and evaluation of offers for purchase or sale of a business entity.
