WHO WE ARE
Our denomination is the product of ecumenical interest, begun in the late 19th century. It was formed from a merger of the Congregational and the Christ Churches (of English, Puritan ancestry), and the Evangelical and Reformed Churches (of German ancestry.)
According to the Gospel of John, Andrew was the first evangelist. He brought his brother Simon to hear and meet Jesus, and the two became the first Apostles. Andrew was with Jesus all the way from Galilee to Golgotha.
