History of Apogee Signs
1 Hour Signs, Inc. began in 1985 as a modest franchise sign printing facility in Tallahassee, Florida. Since then, we remain family owned and operated to deliver professional service with a personal touch. In 1987, we were one of the first sign companies in the Tallahassee area with a computerized vinyl plotter, which remained our focus until the mid 1990's.
At that time, we expanded into larger projects and illuminated signage. In 1996, we added printing, copying and specialty promotional products to our growing list of services. At about this time we began to visualize ourselves as becoming a "1-stop-shop" for business communication needs. In 1999, we added engraving and rubber stamp manufacturing to our menu in addition to offering large format printing for our clients.
Since then we have added screen printing, photopolymer A.D.A Braille signage, raster Braille signs, custom painting services, and most recently, a state of the art computerized 3 dimensional routing equipment. We are also now a State licensed electrical sign contractor and 2006 UL Certified.
That's the history of our little company. Our employees are always striving to give our clients more than what they initially desired through experience, and array of services, and growing capabilities.
