"If you look at successful people, nine times out of ten they will tell you stories of tremendous struggle. If you've got a different kind of brain and, I submit, that most interesting people do, that's great. Never lose sight of those strengths, those talents, because that is what's going to take you to great places."

WELCOME TO LEMON TREE!
Lemon Tree is a family owned speech therapy center dedicated to helping children and teens with languagebased learning differences. The center was created to help identify and treat those students who feel an overwhelming sense of frustration with learning and often times, slip through the cracks. If not properly identied and understood, learning differences can have devastating effects on a childs educational, social, and emotional well-being. Lemon Tree offers positive solutions and support to students who, although bright, are not responding to traditional education and intervention. Lemon Tree specializes in the ability to zero in on the root cause of childrens learning difculty and intervene with the right treatment that effectively retrains their underlying weakness. Our goal is to empower students to identify their innate strengths as learners and reach their intended educational potential.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
First, we identify and target the underlying decit.
Identifying and understanding the underlying decit is of paramount importance to the success of your childs educational progress. If the underlying decit is not properly identied or understood, your resources can quickly be drained with little or no results. Furthermore, the negative impact of yet another frustrating, non-productive learning experience for your child will only add insult to injury to his emotional well-being.
Then we intervene with the right treatment strategies.
The domino effect. With the underlying decit properly identied, we can intervene with the right treatment strategies. Hence, our mantra: work smarter, not harder. If your child is not responding to traditional education, repetition and trying harder is certainly not the solution. Your child learns differently. You have to intervene differently. With the right treatment strategies and approaches, your childs processing pathways can be retrained to make reading, writing, and language more efficient.
The Learning Tree in Miami is a “one stop learning shop”, where teams of specialists bridge the communication gap that too often delays treatment results. Our services include therapy, special needs.
