Cleaning Your Pool Cage Enclosure Before Warm Weather Hits

Before you know it, warmer weather is going to be here and you need to get your pool cage area in shape for your family and visitors to enjoy your pool area. Even if you have had a pool cage rescreen completed recently by a company such as Screen Solutions, there are many things that you can do to help the area look in tip top shape.

There are many things that you can do to make sure the pool cage area is going to sparkle again. All it is going to take is some time, cleaning supplies, tools and some good old elbow grease.

1.       It is best to remove everything that is on the ground, including all furniture. Make sure not leave anything behind on the ground.

2.       Now, you want to give the entire surface area a good sweep. Sweep the same way as you do inside your house, meaning you do not want to leave any debris on the floor so you can keep your water clean as possible and you do not want to be rubbing stains all over the ground.

3.       Now the fun time comes; you want to give it a good chemical scrubbing. Always keep all children and pets away while you are doing this. Also make sure you wear protective gear.

4.       You are going to need a water hose or pressure washer, a bucket to mix your chemicals, a scrubbing brush and proper cleaning products.

5.       Use a hose or pressure washer to water down the entire flooring.  You will be surprised how much dirt is going to be removed by a simple water-down of the area. This is going to save you time and aggravation.

6.       Depending upon the surface area, you need to now put down the cleaner. There are certain areas that you are going to need to scrub more than others, especially if you have parts that have tough stains on them. Bleach is a good agent that can be directly applied to areas that are made of stone and concrete. After some good scrubbing and elbow grease, you are going to see your pool cage area shimmering again in no time at all.

7.       Once the entire flooring area is clean and dry, you can now put everything back in its place. Before you do so, you may want to dust or clean all furniture and objects before putting them back in in their proper place.

Rescreening a pool cage area is really going to make your pool area look fabulous.  If you have not done any serious decorating or redecorating to your pool area in a while, especially after you have a completed a good scrubbing of the area, this is a great time to help is look its best.
