The standard In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) cycle is divided into various steps that include:

• Ovarian Stimulation
• Egg Retrieval
• Fertilization and Embryo Culture
• Embryo Transfer and Cryopreservation
• Pregnancy Test

During In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) cycle to increase the chances of successful pregnancy, some women try acupuncture. However, there is no conclusive study that indicates acupuncture boosts success rates.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is an assisted reproductive technology used in IVF procedure in which a single sperm is injected directly into an egg. This procedure is most commonly used to overcome male infertility problems, although it may also be used where eggs cannot easily be penetrated by sperm, and occasionally in addition to sperm donation.
