Ft Myers Car Tinting Company Offers New IRX Window Film

With an average annual temperature of 82 degrees in Fort Myers, local drivers have something new to help them stay cool: IRX window films from LLumar®. The film’s infrared (IR) rejection technology offers superior solar control compared to dyed, metallized, or standard ceramic films with the same level of visible light transmission.

“We started installing IRX window films in mid November 2020 and the response has been overwhelming,” says Chris Russo, President of Beverly Hills Tinting. “Not only have we had people specifically ask us for this film by name, it’s selling like the newest iPhone.”

LLumar IRX’s nano ceramic technology does not interfere with wireless communication so all devices can stay connected. The film boasts 99% UV rejection similar to lesser technologies. But what sets it apart is its heat rejection qualities. The solar control technology in these top-of-the-line window films targets all of the sun’s heat-generating rays: visible light rays, ultraviolet (UV) rays, and infrared (IR) rays.

“When customers come in to the shop, we use a heat lamp mounted behind different slides of window film to show them the heat differential,” says Russo. “They are amazed when they can actually feel less heat transmitted through the IRX slide. We wanted to wait a few months before officially marketing this film because we wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. It does!”
