Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is the treatment for you. Microneedling is a procedure that uses a needle-studded wand to create micro-wounds to the skin which promotes products to penetrate deeper. Treatments are administered every 4 weeks for optimal results. Depending on the patient, 3 to 5 treatments is recommended. Skin will feel smoother and tighter for up to 8 months following the last treatment.

Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production in the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, the building blocks will reorganize themselves in a natural anti-aging process.

Morpheus8 can be used on any area that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the lower face and neck and areas of the face and body that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration or acne scarring. Depending on the treatment regime, expect to have between 1-3 sessions.

Combining Microneedling with Other Treatments

Microneedling can be combined with a dermaplane, microdermabrasion or Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy to further enhance product penetration. 

• Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). 

• Microdermabrasion utilizes DiamondTome facial wands with diamond tips to remove the superficial layers of dead skin cells revealing luminous, glowing skin. A great treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scars and blackheads.
