Trusted Qualifications
Gulf Coast Academy offers some of the most sought-after qualifications in the Esthetic and Laser Industry. A state board exam must be passed in order to become licensed. We provide preparation assistance for the Certified Medical Electrologist exam. These certifications are prerequisites to being certified as a laser technician in Florida.
Flexible Study Modes

Botox & Dermal Filler Certification Course
Available in an Introduction 1 day 8-hour Botox and dermal filler certification class or a 2-day Advanced Clinical Class.
This course provides professionals with certification for BOTOX® and injectable dermal fillers. This course offers didactic theory and hands-on instruction which allows healthcare professionals to immediately incorporate these aesthetic procedures into a new or existing practice.

Facial Specialist (Esthetician) Course
Esthetics is a career that requires extensive knowledge in several subjects. Because esthetics is primarily a hands-on business, the majority of education is devoted to technique.
This course covers all components of the facial process including, but not limited to, Skin Analysis, Cleansing, Exfoliation, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Facial Massage, Deep Pore Cleansing, Use of Various Equipment, Masks, Specialized Treatments for specific skin problems, and Product Knowledge.
In addition to facials, practical classes also cover waxing and other various eyes, back, and hand treatments.

AESTHETICS WITH PRP: This comprehensive hands-on training workshop explores the multiple cosmetic applications of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). The PRP course covers all major areas that can be treated aesthetically and gives students the tools required to be successful upon completion of the PRP program.
PRP FOR HAIR LOSS: PRP has shown promise by potentially lengthening and thickening hair shafts. It is a popular treatment to assist in slowing down the effects of genetic hair loss known as Androgenic Alopecia.

They are superficial in nature and present on the upper epidermal level of the skin. Vascular irregularities appear most often on the face. Some of these irregularities such as cherry angiomas, and dilated capillaries may appear on the face, chest, and torso.
