Come and See What God is Doing! Holy Land Trip March 11-20, 2011
Have you ever wondered what it must have been like for Jesus to sail on the Sea of Galilee, or for him to walk through the crowded streets of Jerusalem? Did you ever wonder what the Mount of Olives or the Garden Tomb looked like? If you have wondered these or other things about events and place in the Bible, then you need to journey to the land of the scriptures The Holy Land! Fort King is partnering with First Presbyterian of Ocala to lead a learning pilgrimage to the lands where Jesus traveled. This can be a once in a life time opportunity to travel with your church family to the lands that we have only read about.
The journey is being planned for March 11-20, 2011 with an estimated cost of $2,800- $3,300 per person (incl. airfare, 2 meals/ day, entrance fees taxes & tips).

Friday, March 11th Departure from Orlando for Tel Aviv.
Saturday, March 12th Arrive Tel Aviv, welcome dinner/overnight.
Sunday March 13th Caesarea Maritima the historic Roman port. Mt. Carmel and the place of the sacrifice where Elijah battled with the priests of Baal. Tel Megiddo, where we overlook the Valley of Armageddon, the place of the last great battle evelation16:16).Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus, Basilica of the Annunciation, Marys Well and the Synagogue Church. Overnight/dinner in Tiberias (Sea of Galilee).
Monday, March 14th Nof Ginosar Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee Capernaum - Peters house and synagogue Lunch at Tabgha site of the multiplication of fishes/loaves Mt. of Beatitudes
Tuesday, March 15th Yardenit Beit Shean Jordan Valley (past Jericho and the Monastery of the Temptation) Qumran (site of the Dead Sea Scrolls), Masada , swim in the Dead Sea
Wednesday, March 16th - Jerusalem Mt. of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Upper Room, King Davids tomb, Western Wall, Haram es-Sharif (Temple Mount area)
Thursday, March 17th - Jerusalem Church of St. Annes and the Pools of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Garden Tomb
Friday, March 18th - Bethlehem Basilica of Nativity, Shepherds Field, and Rachels tomb. Saturday, March 19th - Jerusalem TBA Transfer to airport for return flight to US
Sunday, March 20th Arrive Orlando You wont want to miss this trip! A $300 deposit per person for this journey is now being accepted to hold your place;space is limited to the first twenty people.
